I'm in an exclusive, friendly, and flexible program at a little known New England school. I feel lucky to be a member of the Church lab. Sometimes I take classes, do real-life molecular biology and teach. More often I'm tinkering with the Quantum Coreworld or pondering the many facets of freedom. So far my colleagues in biophysics and computer science are very patient with me; I am always trying to generate experimentally falsifiable ideas so that patience is not exhausted.

In a past-life I was a contractor for a telecom equipment supplier. My team's software translated electronics design data into instructions for a medium volume, high-mix electronics factory. I am a contributor to the IPC-ANSI GenCAM standard. That experience was the highlight of an otherwise harrowing six years.
